A safe place, War Child with APTart
Goma

The decades-long conflict in eastern DRC has displaced hundreds of thousands of people, including many children. War Child, which empowers young people in conflict-affected areas with psychosocial support, education and protection had built child-friendly safe places for displaced children in rebel-held territory. Working with APTart, Luc facilitated around 40 children to paint the walls of these safe houses to direct lost children towards these safe spaces and deter active fighting in the area.
